Two Kelford Cams Sponsored racers competed at the final round of the East Coast Redline Time Attack Series at Sebring Florida and both walked away champions.

240sxmotoring-kelford smallJeff Ricca was competing in his Nissan 240SX in the Super Modified RWD class. Jeff contacted us approaching the final round of the Championship knowing that he needed something special to give him the edge. We designed a set of custom cams and got them to him right away.

After encountering some intercooler piping problems the team managed to achieve 3rd place overall for their class on the day and secured enough points to win the 2010 Super Modified RWD Championship for the East Region.

"Kelford Cams supplied us a very cool custom set of cams that definitely opened the top end of our race car's power band."

Jeff Ricca - 240SX Motoring.

tic subaruTony Weisenhahn was competing in the Turn In Concepts Subaru WRX in the Modified AWD class. Clint contacted us to get some special cams that would enable him to top the GT-R's. Again we decided that a custom design would suit the application best and got something underway for him.

The team encountered some technical difficulties and ended up having to rebuild the engine, from the bearing up, in the pits! The hard work paid off though as the Turn In Concepts boy's took the victory. Not only did they win their class, but they also won the overall event. They became only the second Modified AWD class car to take an overall event victory in time attack history.

"We took to opportunity to show off our nice new Kelford cams that they were nice enough to make for us. Lots of lift, and appropriate duration and centerline for the WRX heads we're still running. They were really nice folks to work with on that, and I strongly encourage people to look into them if you're looking to do cams on your own car."

Clint Boggess - Turn In Concepts.

Congratulations guys! We look forward to seeing more success from both teams in the future!
